Ciright Energy has won a contract to monitor the Jefferson and Lincoln Memorials in Washington, DC. The company will monitor hundreds of data points as part of a ten-year preservation study happening in the nation’s capital. Besides just using the basic monitoring methods, such as temperature , humidity, moisture, and light levels, Ciright Energy developed new sensors to measure the movement of cracks of stone, the amount of humidity rising from the under-croft to the attic in both locations, and vibration sensors to monitor the effect of the vibrations caused by airplane and helicopters. Ciright is thrilled to apply its technology to preserving American history.
